I think that my most successful piece of art work was my elements project. This was successful because it came out how I wanted, and it is very neat. The details came out good, and I like the colors I used. Overall, I think that this was my most successful art project. I think that my least successful art project was the essential questions. This project looked very bad because it was not neat, and it looked like a child made it. If I could do this project over again, I would have spent more time making it look neater and more realistic. Overall, I think that this was my least successful project.

North Carolina Museum of ArtThis piece of art immediately caught my eye because of the detail and also the colors. This was definitely one of my favorite art pieces in the museum. When I first saw this painting I didn't think much about it. But after looking at it for a minute or two, or decided I really liked it. I like this piece because it is simple, yet realistic. And I really like the colors that were used for the sunset. This piece of art I didn't understand at all. I personally don't care for this one, and I could make something just like that.
Texture and Juxtapositioni skipped the reaction and proportion project, so this is my post for juxtaposition. Also, I have not finished it, but this is what I have done so far. What: For this project I collaborated with Sneha and we each drew 3 different outfits. After I finish drawing the outfits, my plan is to cut parts of the outfits out and take pictures. I will take pictures outside with the nature and buildings. This is an example of juxtaposition because it looks like the clothes will be made out of nature. This is also an example of texture because I plan to take pictures of trees and different things that have texture. These are what my pictures look like right now. I need to add color, and also finish the hair.
Texture: This tree represents texture because the bark looks rough, and has bumps. This picture of a plant has a point texture, and the leaves look sharp and prickly. These leaves have a soft texture, and you can see that with the lines on the leaves. This is a picture of a tree with yarn wrapped around it. The yarn gives it a soft texture. This is a picture of a wooden bench. It's texture is rough because of the lines and cracks in the wood. |
